Technology, Engineering, and
Innovation Management Communities as Enablers for Social-Ecological Transitions

28th IEEE ICE/ITMC & 31st IAMOT Conference IEEE — June 19-23, 2022 - Nancy, France

In 2020 and 2021 successively, two of the leading communities on Management of Technology, Engineering and Innovation organized on-line versions of their scientific conferences, showing much-needed adaptability in a pandemic situation.

In 2022, for the first time ever these two communities will work together, aiming to explore new ways for these technology management and innovation communities to interact and come up with innovative solutions to the critical global issues of our time.

Conference themes:

ICE Community

It is the International Conference on Engineering, Technology, and Innovation. It developed from an early focus on the engineering method of concurrent engineering, to general organization of the engineering process and its organization within the corporation and in networks.

IAMOT Community

The International Association for Management of Technology (IAMOT). IAMOT is a non-governmental, non-profit organization incorporated in 1992 in the State of Florida, USA. Its purpose is to encourage high quality research and education in the field of management of technology (MOT).

This joint event will be the place where research, science and industry innovators are invited to contribute original ideas, papers, special sessions, workshops and open initiatives.

The main aim is to explore the role of Management of Technology, Engineering and Innovation can contribute to the the Social-Ecological Transitions covering not only product and process but also changes in user practices, markets, policy, regulations, culture, infrastructure, lifestyle and management of firms.

Key Notes & Roundtables

ICE/IEEE ITMC conference includes distinguished keynote speakers. Those keynotes will participate in our panel sessions on Innovation through the use of Immersive Technologies and Artificial Intelligence. We were able to acquire a selection of thought leading innovation managers, CEOs, scholars, politicians, and entrepreneurs in these fields.

Call for Papers

The IEEE 28th ICE/ITMC & 31st IAMOT invites high-quality papers to be presented at this premier international event. Submissions should contribute to a substantial, original and previously unpublished research related to the topics of the conference. This includes theoretical research papers that provide new concepts. The paper submission ends on the 7th February 2022.

NITIM-Doctoral School

The NITIM graduate school is an international PhD school that focuses on topics in the areas of entrepreneurship, innovation and technology management as well as information and communication technologies. The NITIM summer school will be co-organized this year by ICE/ITMC faculty members and the IAMOT PhD Colloquium Team. It will take place at the inspiring innovation Fab Living Lab (LF2L) of the Université de Lorraine.
